Starting November 30th through December 24, the same company as in years past will be selling Christmas trees on the Markham Street lot of our church. Please consider getting your tree (or trees) from them. You would be helping St. Peter’s operating budget by purchasing your live trees from our Markham Street lot. There will be many beautiful trees available and your purchase of a Christmas tree helps to financially support the Winter Welcome table's out reach efforts. The lot will be open every day from 10 AM to 8 PM.
Join us for refreshments after 5 PM Mass on Saturday, December 7th and after 9 AM and 11:15 AM Masses on Sunday, December 8th in the Church auditorium. Baked goods, jewellery, new toys and Christmas items will be on sale. Come celebrate this wonderful time of the year in fellowship and cheer.
There will be a Parish Reconciliation Services held on the following dates / times / locations:
-Sunday, December 1st after 6 PM Mass in the Church
-Wednesday, December 11th at the following times / locations:
8:30 AM - 9:30 AM in the Paulist Centre
12.30 PM - 2:00 PM in the Church
6:00 PM - 8:00 PM in the Church
Please plan on joining your fellow parishioners in this time of spiritual healing as we prepare to celebrate the birth of Christ. The priests will also be available to hear confessions by appointment.
On Saturday, December 14th at 7 p.m., St. Peter’s will be hosting an evening of classical Christmas music. The event is entitled “Christmas Cards From Around the World” and will feature our professionally trained cantors Christina Labriola, Mikhai Vergara, Damien Macedo, and Christian Baez with Roy Lee on the organ. Kevin Sylvester will be hosting the evening.
Tickets are $10 and will be sold at the back of church after all Masses as well as in the church office during regular hours. All proceeds will go towards the upkeep of the organ. This should be a wonderful way to celebrate the holidays so come on out and invite a friend!
